The controversy on the Church still lingers on gazes of the curious, in hungry minds, twisted into conversations by the bold, through eager receiving ears, unsuccessfully slain by the Church. Why so loyal to a destructive being? What causes you to not question the same way others do? How do you live knowing you’ve killed and impacted numerous lives just because you can? When one asking such questions is refused answers from the Church, they turn to the Sect of Resonance.
Sect of Resonance are a raider group that worships the god Hordoe, and are the sworn enemies of the Church of Decay. They are known for their skilled fighting prowers and are to be killed on sight by any worshippers of Meirkein.
Background #
Not much of the origins of the Sect is known, as the Church of Decay wiped any mentions of them and Hordoe, the being they worship, in their library. However, it is taught within the Sect that Hordoe was the brother of Meirkein and was betrayed. Members refer Meirkein as “the thief” who stole Hordoe’s voice. The main mission of the Sect of Resonance is to kill members from the Church of Decay.
Appearance #
The members of the Order of Sound have very similar uniforms to the Church of Decay’s. They are hooded and colored a dark shade of green, and are easily identified by their yellow glowing eyes.
