Weekly Development Report 24/10/21

After a sort of long hiatus from dev reports due to additional work on v2, the dev team is finally able to release another report! We apologise for the long wait time, but we can promise that this update is going to be a biggie.

Scripting

Over the past few weeks, we have done a major overhaul on v2.

First of all, we welcome Ghosterly back into the dev team. Having worked with us before on v2, he has finally returned to volunteer for script related works. He has made himself busy going through bug report tickets and helping streamline the game.

Augustus has worked with the esoterics and cryptics to bring in new quality of life updates, as well as fixing bugs.

With the help of Nasakco and various SoR HRs, we have brought in a new balance change to the weapons to further enhance the pvp gameplay experience.

Building

The build team, spearheaded by Aira and Lachlan have committed to finishing the final touches on the v2 map overhaul.

Conclusion

Overall, the dev team has continued hard work despite several drawbacks within the past few weeks. We are again happy to have ghosterly back with us as we continue to make this community a better place!
